Our Shipping Policy


Local shipping applies if the buyer resides in the country of origin of the artwork as indicated in the “Quick View” section of each artwork.

Orders will be delivered within 7 working days of being processed. Should the artwork not be delivered on time due to processing or transport delays, a DF Contemporary representative will be in contact with the buyer. All artworks are delivered by courier. 


International shipping applies if the buyer resides outside of the country of origin of the artwork as indicated in the “Quick View” section of each artwork.

We strive to ensure that all artwork is delivered within 15 working days using a ‘signed for’ service. Should the artwork not be delivered on time due to processing or transport delays, we will be in contact with the buyer. Please note that international shipments may be subject to customs delays which will affect delivery times and are beyond DF Contemporary’s control. (Refer to the information regarding customs duties below.)

Customs’ Duties:

All international shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. Any additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the buyer; these charges vary and these costs cannot be determined in advance. Should the order incur import duties and taxes by the local customs authority in the destination country, these will need to be paid directly by the buyer to the customs authority or the courier before the release of the shipment. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, therefore we encourage all buyers to contact their local customs office for further information. Upon placing an order, the buyer agrees to indemnify DF Contemporary in full in respect of any and all such duties and taxes. Should the delivery be unsuccessful due to incorrect delivery details (as specified by the buyer), or the buyer fails to collect the order from their local depot, any and all courier charges incurred by DF Contemporary will be for the expense of the buyer.


All prints are wrapped and packaged inside sturdy cardboard tubes. All artwork is delivered in bespoke boxes to prevent damage as far as reasonably possible.

Our Returns Policy

Incorrect Delivery

If we accidentally deliver the wrong artwork, or if the artwork is not as portrayed on the website, please notify us and we will collect the artwork at no cost to the buyer. Once we have inspected the artwork and validated the return, we will deliver the correct artwork as soon as possible.


Damaged Artwork

If the artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours in order for us to attend to the problem.


Unwanted Artwork

If for any reason, the buyer is not satisfied with their artwork (for reasons other than stated above), they must notify DF Contemporary within 24 hours of receipt of the artwork for appropriate arrangements to be made. Should a return be accepted, shipping charges will be at the buyer’s expense. We recommend a “signed for” service as DF Contemporary will not be responsible for artwork lost or damaged in transit.


Preparing Your Artwork for a Return

In the event that artwork needs to be returned to DF Contemporary, the buyer is responsible for packaging the artwork safely and securely for protection during transit. Failure to adhere to this requirement could delay the processing of the return request or result in its decline altogether.
